Chalankis R. Brown is an associate in the Montgomery office and practices in the areas of civil defense litigation, insurance litigation, and workers compensation. Mr. Brown is admitted to practice in all Alabama state courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.
Mr. Brown graduated from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2014, where he served as Vice-President of the Ernestine S. Sapp Chapter of the Black Law Students Association. Mr. Brown was also a student-member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Brown graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and was a member of the Order of the Gownsmen. Mr. Brown was a four-year letter winner in both football and track, where he was a 13-time Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference selection during his time on the Mountain.
A native of Millbrook, Alabama, Mr. Brown currently serves on the Executive Board for the Tukabatchee Area Council for the Boy Scouts of America. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and attending Auburn and Sewanee football games.
