Joe Wiley Mitchell is an Associate in the Montgomery office. His practice consists primarily of commercial and residential real estate-related matters, including transactional work and litigation.
As part of closing real estate transactions, Joe Wiley enjoys the chance to welcome new faces to Montgomery and congratulate long-time residents on the purchase of their new home or business. He is grateful to work with an experienced team that strives to make the closing process as seamless as possible.
Aside from closing real estate loan transactions, Joe Wiley regularly prepares deeds, purchase and sale agreements, and works with title insurance companies to resolve title issues.
Joe Wiley graduated from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, where he was chosen to be a member of the Student Bar Association and Board of Advocates. He is also a graduate of Auburn University. While at Auburn, he was selected to intern with Congressman Robert B. Aderholt in Washington, D.C., and the former Alabama Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, John McMillan. He also spent a summer clerking in the Criminal Trials Division of the Alabama Attorney General’s office.
A native of Marshall County, Alabama, Joe Wiley is an avid fan of Auburn football and enjoys hunting and fishing when he can.
