Mr. Knowles is a native of Montgomery and a partner in the Montgomery office. His practice centers on personal injury litigation, trucking litigation, and worker’s compensation litigation. Mr. Knowles graduated from the University of Alabama College of Commerce and Business Administration magna cum laude in 1982. Mr. Knowles graduated from the University of Alabama Law School in 1985. Upon graduation, he clerked for Montgomery County Circuit Judge Joseph Phelps, before entering private practice with the firm in 1986.
Mr. Knowles is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama as well as the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Knowles is the 2015 President of the Montgomery County Bar Association. Mr. Knowles is also a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, Alabama Trucking Association, Trucking Insurance Defense Lawyers Association, and Transportation Lawyers Association.
Mr. Knowles is married to the former Holley Crim of Birmingham, Alabama, and they have two sons. Mr. Knowles is an avid University of Alabama football fan and a struggling golfer.
