Stephen C. Stovall is an associate in Barton’s Nashville office. Stephen’s practice focuses on labor and employment law, representing corporations and individual business clients.
Stephen is highly skilled in the preparation of employee policies and litigation avoidance advice as well as intensive litigation defense. He is well-versed in traditional labor matters and often assists clients with labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and union avoidance training. Stephen’s approach is tailored to each client’s goals and needs thereby achieving the most effective and efficient resolution possible for the employer.
A cum laude graduate of Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Stephen served as a judicial intern for the Honorable John W. deGravelles in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. Prior to joining Barton, Stephen practiced in the Nashville office of Jackson Lewis.
