Malcolm Terry

Malcolm Terry focuses on supporting all business sizes in employment law, including human resources support, contract issues, and landlord-tenant law. His clients are companies that need assistance in such matters as discipline and discharge, commissions and payroll advice, defense of discrimination claims, and handling investigations, including sexual harassment claims, non-compete enforcement, and drafting confidential information and trade-secret agreements. He also specializes in litigating each of these issues for his clients.

Malcolm drafts necessary agreements and policies for employers, including employee handbooks. He advises them on applying the policies to avoid trouble and keep the workplace a positive and professional environment. He works extensively with issues occurring in the multi-housing industry, including defending property management companies against state and federal Title VI and HUD Charges of discrimination brought by both employees and tenants. He also handles all forms of contract and leasing issues for his clients.

In addition, Malcolm works on behalf of insurance companies that provide coverage for employers who are sued on all ranges of employment matters. His cases include suits filed in state and federal courts and being highly successful in defending administrative charges of discrimination filed with state human rights departments and the federal EEOC and HUD agencies in locales throughout the United States. Malcolm’s objective is to satisfy the client’s needs while finding the best resolution to the issue at hand.
