Laura joined Burch & Cracchiolo in 2011 after completing a year-long Sheldon Seevak Fellowship with DÄ“mos: A Network for Ideas & Action in Boston where she worked on campaign finance and National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) litigation. She was also involved with the Prison Policy Initiative in efforts to end prison gerrymandering at the local, state and federal levels. While she was in law school, Laura worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Health Care Fraud Unit researching and writing memoranda on Medicare fraud, aggravated identity theft and spousal privilege.
Laura received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2010 and her B.A.s from Arizona State University in 2007. She completed her senior thesis for the Barrett Honors College on renewal of the minority language assistance provisions of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. During her undergraduate studies, Laura was selected to participate in the prestigious Supreme Court Judicial Internship program, which offers undergraduates who have interests in law a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the field of judicial administration through work in the Office of the Counselor to the Chief Justice.
At Burch & Cracchiolo, Laura’s practice concentrates on litigation matters, including business litigation, and matters involving government liability.
