CCN’s public procurement practice features practitioners with many years of experience advising clients in Mexico through each stage of the procurement process for public works, goods and services by agencies, entities and other departments of the Mexican government. Our experience ranges from the beginning of the bid solicitation process to the execution of contracts relating to the various procurement contracting processes, public tenders, invitations to participants and direct awards. Further, we have worked on numerous matters to defend our clients’ interests in procurement award challenges, administrative appeals and litigation.
The firm’s experience in the public procurement arena is complemented by CCN attorneys working in other practice areas of the firm, who have advised clients dealing with the Mexican government in matters such as customs, environmental, energy, intellectual property, immigration, labor, litigation, real estate, tax and others.
The firm was founded in the same month the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) (now known as the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement or USMCA) was enacted. Our international character, coupled with three decades of experience advising clients on the intricacies of these and other treaties entered into by Mexico and the U.S., enables us to provide clients with practical and insightful knowledge of the public procurement process. CCN always conducts such work according to the same high ethical and professional standards that have characterized CCN’s practice since the firm’s inception.
