Antonio Riojas is senior associate in the energy practice of Cacheaux, Cavazos and Newton, LLP in Mexico City. Before joining the firm, Antonio worked as an attorney in the General Secretariat of the Guadalajara City Government where he was responsible for providing legal advice on a wide array of projects. These projects included updating the Local Climate Action Plan (PACMUN), designing the energy efficiency code, and reviewing changes to Guadalajara’s urban development and environmental ordinances.
Antonio received a Bachelor of Laws degree from ITESO University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Guadalajara, where he graduated with both an honorable mention and an acknowledgment of academic excellence. After being awarded a Fulbright scholarship, Antonio entered the Master of Laws in Environmental Law and Policy program at Stanford University, concentrating his degree plan on energy and natural resources.
