Michael Deegan is a valuable member of Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers’ Compensation Law team.

Michael is based in Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers’ Sydney office.

He has an extensive and senior background in the public and private sectors. His exposure to the law is multifaceted, principally on the client side. He brings to Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers and our clients, this depth of knowledge and experience.

There are few legal challenges which he has not faced. He has been a chief executive officer in various roles for over 20 years.

He has also been recognised by major awards from the property, transport, and consulting industries.

• Michael was formerly CEO of the Inner West Council
• He was the Chairman of Australia’s National Transport Commission
• Michael was the Inaugural CEO of Infrastructure Australia

• Michael was the Deputy Secretary of the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet
