With more than 50 years experience in the property industry, Tony is one of Australia’s most well-known and effective property lawyers. Tony works with a wide range of clients who are either buying or selling commercial, industrial or residential property.
Tony’s expertise in this area in part stems from his commercial experience. He has had a prominent property business career, sitting on the boards of two formerly publicly listed companies; he was Chairman of Phipps Properties and Director of Trinity Properties.
Tony’s extensive experience in wills, probate and the administration of estates enables him to provide insightful, strategic advice to clients in the area of wills and estate planning.
In 1996, Tony was made a member of the Order of Australia. This honour was awarded to him for services to the community, in part following his work advising and representing not-for-profit organisations. Tony is on the ground floor with many organisations, setting up structures that are compliant with the law and at the same time as Tax effective as possible.
For example, Tony oversaw the transfer of the Mater to St Vincent‘s Hospital, ensuring the parties’ interests were enhanced during the complex legal proceedings.
