Carrie M. Motes is a partner in Christian & Small’s Birmingham, Alabama office. She focuses her practice on civil defense litigation, personal injury defense, insurance, and professional liability. She has experience defending individuals, small businesses, retailers, transportation companies, and various healthcare providers. Carrie enjoys getting to know her clients and working with them to best meet their needs.
Carrie obtained her B.S. degree in Biology and History from Furman University and her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Carrie served as Lead Editor for the Journal of the Legal Profession and completed an externship with The Honorable Karon O. Bowdre in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
