J. Lucas Richardson

Luke Richardson is an associate with the firm’s Trucking Defense and Professional Liability Practice Groups in Columbia.

Luke defends businesses and professionals in litigation and investigations statewide before courts and various licensing boards. Typical clients include:

• motor carriers
• shippers & brokers
• health care providers
• insurers
• brokers & agents

Luke earned his bachelor of arts in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, at the University of South Carolina School of Law. Before joining Collins & Lacy, he served as law clerk for The Honorable R. Scott Sprouse in Walhalla, South Carolina.

Outside of work, Luke is an outdoor enthusiast who can be found camping, backpacking, hiking, canoeing, and kayaking. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his fiance.
