Charles B. Long is of counsel with Degan, Blanchard & Nash. Mr. Long received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
Mr. Long has extensive experience with general casualty, automobile and professional liability construction litigation, including the representation of contractors, sureties and design professionals. He has handled a variety of insurance coverage and property and casualty cases, including the Chinese Drywall Multidistrict Litigation and first party hurricane litigation in Louisiana and Texas.
He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana, the state courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and DC Circuits as well as the Court of Federal Claims. Mr. Long is a member of the Louisiana State, Maryland State, District of Columbia and American Bar Associations and the Defense Research Institute.
He has received the A.V. Preeminent Peer Rating by Martindale Hubbell and has also been named a Super Lawyer in Construction Litigation.
