Keith Kornman is of counsel with Degan, Blanchard & Nash.
Mr. Kornman is a life-long resident of New Orleans. He attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Policy and History in 1991. He then returned to New Orleans and went to Tulane Law School where he graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree in 1994.
He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana and Texas, all Louisiana Federal Courts and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Kornman is a member of Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
Mr. Kornman has handled a variety of insurance defense and complex commercial cases throughout the Gulf Coast states, including Louisiana Direct Action claims, long term exposure claims, various personal injury and casualty claims, civil RICO claims and commercial and contract disputes.
Mr. Kornman was identified as one of New Orleans’ “Top Lawyers” in New Orleans magazine and has been named a “Best Lawyer” in the field of Mass Torts in 2009 by Best Lawyersmagazine, which is one of the oldest and most respected peer-review publications in the legal profession.
