Lezly L. Petrovich is Of Counsel with Degan, Blanchard & Nash.

Ms. Petrovich is a native New Orleanian and earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Louisiana State University and earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in Birmingham, Alabama in 1998 where she served as Casenote editor on Law Review. After serving as a federal law clerk for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, Ms. Petrovich returned home in 1999 where she has practiced law for over 20 years.

Ms. Petrovich has considerable experience representing a variety of clients over her career including Fortune 500 companies, primarily in the areas of commercial and complex litigation, construction law and general casualty. Ms. Petrovich specializes in the area of toxic torts and environmental law. She also handles litigation and business and transactional matters for both private and public entities, including navigating state and municipal government law for those clients, including formerly representing the NOAB. Ms. Petrovich is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana. Ms. Petrovich a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute, Inc. and is an avid volunteer at her daughter’s school.
