Richard W. Schwerdtfeger is an associate attorney with Degan, Blanchard & Nash.
Mr. Schwerdtfeger graduated from Louisiana State University in 2012 receiving a dual degree in both Political Science and Communication Studies. Mr. Schwerdtfeger graduated from Loyola Law School in 2016. While at Loyola Law, Richard was on the National Trial Advocacy Team twice and received awards as best defense counsel, while his team earned top honors at National Trial Competitions across the country. Richard was a meritorious recipient of The Janet Mary Riley Endowed Scholarship, The John and Florence St. Paul Endowed Scholarship and The Richard E. Chandler, Jr. Endowed Scholarship.
Mr. Schwerdtfeger is admitted to practice in the State of Louisiana. He specializes in civil litigation including insurance defense, casualty, product liability, and workers’ compensation claims throughout the State of Louisiana.
