Simone Manuel Almon is Of Counsel with Degan, Blanchard & Nash.
Simone practices insurance coverage counseling and litigation, as well as general commercial and property and casualty litigation. She has over a decade of experience in counseling and defending nationwide and international insurance clients. She has argued before Louisiana appellate courts and the Louisiana Supreme Court. Simone is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Simone attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2001. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 2006 (cum laude). During her time at Loyola, Simone was a member and Managing Editor of the Loyola Law Review.
Simone is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
