Travis L. Bourgeois is Of Counsel with Degan, Blanchard & Nash.
Mr. Bourgeois attended Tulane University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1989. In 1991, Mr. Bourgeois received a Master of Arts degree, cum laude, from the Katholieke Universitiet te Leuven, in Leuven, Belgium. Mr. Bourgeois returned to Tulane where he received a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane Law School in 1994.
Mr. Bourgeois is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is admitted to practice before all state trial-level and appellate courts. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Bourgeois has also handled appeals in Florida and in the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Bourgeois belongs to the appellate and francophone sections of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Bourgeois is primarily engaged in appellate practice, insurance coverage and defense, and general civil litigation.
