Donna M. Moniz

Ms. Moniz’ practice emphasizes the defense of medical negligence claims and health care law - including medical staff issues and professional licensing.

Defense of Medical Negligence Claims - Ms. Moniz has obtained excellent results defending medical negligence claims on behalf of urban and rural hospitals and other health care providers in Western Washington. This includes defense of cases involving brain damaged infants.

Hospital Law - Ms. Moniz is consulted on a regular basis by hospitals regarding practice issues. She also advises on medical staff bylaws, policies and procedures, physician credentialing and risk management.

Professional Licensing - Ms. Moniz represents health care providers who are investigated or charged by the Department of Health.
