Brian Brown manages, supervises and handles the defense litigation cases involving automobile negligence, products liability, premises liability including lead-based paint poisoning, civil assaults, construction accidents, insurance coverage, insurance fraud and claims of negligent security, including ATMs. He has over 32 years of civil litigation experience in both state and federal courts and has achieved countless favorable results for his clients.
Prior to joining Lewis Johs, Brian was a partner in a prominent New York City law firm where he was responsible for overseeing and handling matters for major insurance companies and self-insurers in all phases of personal injury, property and casualty insurance defense litigation.
He was admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1979. He is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association and has been appointed by the New York State Supreme Court, Nassau County, to serve as a neutral evaluator to help parties reach an amicable settlement.
Brian Brown received his Juris Doctor Degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1978. He is a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, graduate of the City University of New York, Queens College where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics in 1975.
