Mark Aledort’s practice focuses on all areas of complex civil litigation, and catastrophic injury cases, representing individuals and companies in both state and federal courts. While handling a variety of civil litigation, Mark concentrates in hotel/catering hall liability, construction accidents and Labor Law cases. He has also drafted and argued numerous appeals before the New York State appellate courts.
Prior to joining Lewis Johs, Mark was a partner with a Long Island based firm where he defended and tried civil cases involving construction accidents, products liability, vehicular negligence and premises liability.
Mark was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1987. He was also admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York in 1991. He is a member of both the Nassau County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
Mark Aledort received his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1987. He was awarded his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Management from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1984.
