Jennifer E. Presti

Jennifer E. Presti is Counsel in the Matrimonial and Family Law & Elder Law Practice Groups at Mandelbaum Barrett PC. She dedicates her practice to assisting clients with a wide range of matrimonial and family law matters, such as equitable distribution, alimony, custody and parenting time, child support, domestic violence, prenuptial, marital, and cohabitation agreements and resolves matters through divorce litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Jennifer is also highly experienced in cases involving cohabitation, third-party custody, the Department of Child Protection and Permanency, and post-judgment modifications or enforcement of divorce agreements.

Throughout her legal career, Jennifer has managed cases from straightforward to complex matters in matrimonial, commercial, trust, estate, and guardianship law. She has also been involved in employment, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and residential property litigation. Her extensive legal background allows her to provide valuable service to clients, particularly in sensitive situations involving grey divorce, special needs dependents, complex financial valuations, and planning beyond legal separation. This expertise has made her a trusted advisor, offering clients reliable information and support during their most challenging times.

Jennifer also has significant experience in Elder Law, providing guidance on issues such as long-term care planning, guardianships, and elder abuse. She works closely with families to navigate the complexities of planning for the care and protection of aging loved ones, ensuring that their legal rights and well-being are safeguarded.

Jennifer is a strong advocate for her clients, frequently appearing in Superior Court across New Jersey. She has also argued cases before the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fairfield University and earned her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School. She began her legal career as an intern and later a law clerk for the Honorable Siobhan A. Teare, J.S.C. (Ret.) in the Chancery Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, Family Part, where she gained invaluable experience in family and juvenile matters, as well as in mediating custody, parenting time, and child support cases.
