Michael Co-Chairs the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, and specializes in the areas of complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, restrictive covenant contracts and corporate counseling. He represents banks, national corporations, closely held companies and entrepreneurs, and has considerable experience in both seeking and opposing injunctive relief actions.
As a seasoned trial attorney, Michael has litigated in diverse areas including contract actions, shareholder disputes, medical malpractice, adverse possession, palimony and bank fraud. He is admitted to the bars of New Jersey and New York, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of New York, the Southern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Second Circuit.
He graduated with Honors from Lafayette College, and received his law degree from The American University School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review. Michael has been recognized from 2006 through 2011 by “Best Lawyers in America” in commercial litigation as one of the top litigators in America. He was also selected for inclusion in the “New Jersey Super Lawyers Edition” 2009 and 2011 for Business Litigation, and in the years 2006 through 2011 by “Top Lawyers in New York” as one of the top litigators in the New York Metropolitan area.
