Bruce is an experienced litigator with a proven track record of defending high-stakes cases on behalf of individual and corporate clients in both state and federal court throughout Florida. Bruce has handled the defense of complicated cases involving business disputes, maritime law, transportation law, and a wide variety of cases involving alleged negligence resulting in minor injuries to death. Bruce is always willing to take the initiative to go beyond conventional defense strategies to explore creative and even novel defenses when such opportunities present themselves.
A native of South Florida, Bruce graduated from Coral Gables Senior High School. Bruce went on to graduate with honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, attend graduate school at the University of Chicago, and obtain his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law.
Bruce’s civic involvement includes serving as a board member of the Kiwanis Club of Biscayne Bay, The Morningside Historical Education Society, and The Historical Museum of Southern Florida. Bruce also served on the Planning Board of the City of South Miami and, in 2000, was a candidate for mayor of the City of South Miami.
On a personal level, Bruce enjoys such outdoor activities as tennis and sailing, both for pleasure and for racing.
