Matthew S. Warren is an Associate Attorney at Nicklaus & Associates in Coral Gables, where he practices Defense Transportation, International and Maritime Litigation, Civil Security Matters and State and Federal Civil Defense. Mr. Warren was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from Dover-Sherborn Regional High School in 1997. Mr. Warren graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Comparative Literary Studies. Between college and law school, Mr. Warren worked in real estate development and served in the U.S. Navy with the U.S. Fourth Fleet, 10th Fleet Cyber Command, and the National Security Agency/Central Security Service. While in the Navy, Mr. Warren studied Arabic and Spanish at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California.
Following his discharge from active duty service in 2013, Mr. Warren attended the University of Miami School of Law, graduating with honors in 2016. During law school, Mr. Warren served as a law clerk in the Narcotics Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and as a judicial intern with the Honorable U.S. District Court Judge Jose E. Martinez, both in the Southern District of Florida. Throughout his final year of law school, Mr. Warren was a Certified Legal Intern with the Department of Homeland Security in Miami. After being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016, Mr. Warren worked in white-collar criminal defense, international finance, and private banking consulting in Miami and throughout the Caribbean.
Mr. Warren is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts.
