Josh’s practice is concentrated in the areas of banking law, commercial lending transactions, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy and commercial loan workouts. He has extensive experience representing lenders and borrowers in secured transactions, commercial real estate loans, and cross-border matters. Prior to entering private practice, Josh was a senior court attorney at the New York Court of Appeals.
Recent Projects:
- Representation of national and regional banks in the documentation and negotiation of commercial real estate loan transactions, other secured loan transactions and loan restructuring agreements.
- Representation of a Canadian bank in the documentation and negotiation of a commercial real estate loan made to a New York borrower.
- Representation of Canadian lenders in the documentation and negotiation of guaranties and collateral documents given by United States affiliates of Canadian borrowers.
- Representation of secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy matters, including preference and non-dischargeability litigation.
