Ms. Tammy Nguyen begins her litigation profession at O'Meara Wagner following a stellar academic career. Ms. Nguyen received her M.S. and B.S. in Accounting from Daemen University in Amherst, New York, where she graduated magna cum laude, at the top of her Accounting class. While at Daemen, she was selected to serve as a peer coach in writing and accounting, an experience that will serve her well as she advises her O'Meara Wagner clients. Ms. Nguyen then obtained her J.D. from University at Buffalo School of Law, where she served as the Business Editor on the editorial board for the Buffalo Law Review. While in law school she also interned for Judge John Curran of the New York State Supreme Court and Judge Thomas Franczyk in the Erie County District Court. Again, she obtained valuable experience by advising and representing clients through clinics where she represented litigants in the U.S.District Court for the Western District of New York and Family Court.
Following law school, Ms. Nguyen moved to Minnesota where she worked as a Contract Attorney for one of the nation's largest corporations. She now hopes to meld all these experiences to serve O'Meara Wagner's carriers and clients in Workers' Compensation disputes. Her attention to detail and academic success will serve her and her clients well.
In her free time, Tammy enjoys volunteering and spending time with friends and family.
