Salina specializes in corporate and commercial areas. She has extensive and solid experience in advising both private clients and listed companies on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, corporate compliance as well as other general corporate and commercial matters.
Salina is also involved in our corporate finance practice and has supervised our takeovers, pre-IPO investments, placings and IPO projects.
Asset management is another major area of practice of Salina. She has experience in applying for Type 9 licence under the Securities and Futures Ordinance and in setting up offshore and authorised funds. She constantly advises clients on the Securities and Futures Ordinance, the Codes, Guidelines and Circulars issued by the Securities and Futures Commission and other legal and regulatory compliance matters relating to the operation and business of their asset management business.
Besides asset management, Salina has also assisted private companies and financial institutions in applying licenses for various other types of regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, and rendered legal advices to them on ongoing legal and regulatory compliance.
