Founding partner with over 40 years of experience in Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, and Litigation. Expert in advising and judicial representation in disputes arising from construction activities and in structuring fiduciary businesses and corporate governance schemes. He has advised companies and shareholders in corporate disputes and has facilitated complex transactions and shareholder agreements, as well as estate and succession planning for family businesses, developed in the construction, pharmaceutical, business, and law firm sectors.

He has represented and advised companies and individuals, both national and international, in a wide range of disputes, including real estate, urban planning, fraud, and tax conflicts.

Leads the areas of Dispute Resolution, Litigation and Arbitration; Corporate Law; Tax Law; Renewable and Non-Renewable Energy; and Criminal and Disciplinary Law.

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Legal advice and judicial representation of the construction company in the disputes concerning the Peñas Blancas building in Bogotá, Colombia.
  • Acquittal of a construction company in the consumer protection action promoted by the Peñas Blancas building, before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, in Bogotá, Colombia.
  • Legal advice to the National Government on contracting for the acquisition of vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Legal advice and structuring of the Lagos de Torca trust, Bogotá.
  • Legal advice and structuring of the trust for the Macroproject of National Interest Ciudad Verde (Soacha).
  • Legal advice and structuring of the fiduciary business of the Hacienda Rosablanca partial plan, in Villavicencio, Meta. Entorno Urbano S.A.S.
  • Legal structuring of the trust for the execution of the "100,000 Homes" Law.
