Gary Sarcida joined PKF as an articling student in 2004 and was called to the bar in June 2005. He has appeared at all levels of court - The Manitoba Court of Appeal, Manitoba Court of Queen's Bench (Civil and Family Divisions); the Provincial Court of Manitoba; the Federal Court of Canada and Small Claims Court. He has also appeared before a number of administrative tribunals - the Automobile Inquiry Appeal Commission; the Residential Tenancies Appeal Commission; Office of the Commissioner of Review Tribunal - Pension Appeals; the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada; and the License Appeal Board.
As a member of Winnipeg's Filipino community Gary adds a valuable language and cultural ingredient to the firm. He can fluently communicate in the official Filipino language of Tagalog. He is involved with the Philippine Association of Manitoba Inc., the Southeastman Filipino Association of Manitoba Inc., and the Manitoba Filipino Business Council Inc.
Gary has also served on the Board of Directors of Folklorama and the Folk Arts Council of Winnipeg Inc. from 2006 to 2012. During his tenure he served as Chair of the Member Relations and Review Committees.

Away from the practice of law, you can find him on the golf course or cheering on his beloved Lakers as he bleeds purple and gold.
