Emily Stephenson is an associate attorney at Saalfield Shad P.A. and a Jacksonville, Florida native. She primarily practices in the areas of professional liability, general liability and premises liability. She also has experience with wrongful death claims and environmental law.
Emily earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration, cum laude, at the University of North Florida in 2016. She then went on to attend Florida State University College of Law where she earned her J.D. in 2022. Throughout law school Emily participated in the FSU Trial Team, served as Articles & Notes Editor for the Journal of Land Use & Environmental Law, served as a Staff Editor on the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy, and represented veterans at Florida State University College of Law’s Public Interest Law Center. During law school, Emily gained additional legal experience as a law clerk for Florida’s Office of the Attorney General and a Florida insurance defense firm. Prior to joining Saalfield Shad P.A., Emily began her career as an attorney at a civil litigation firm in Orlando, Florida, where she practiced in the areas of professional negligence, health care law and workers compensation.
Outside of the office, Emily enjoys traveling with friends and family, and playing with her French Bulldog, Ziva.
