Yong Yang is a partner at Watson & Band Law Offices in Shanghai.
Mr. Yang graduated from the Fudan University College of Law. He once handled legal affairs for a state-owned company, and he began his career as a full-time attorney in January 1991. Before joining Watson & Band in February 2013 he worked for Beijing Tianda Law Firm and Shanghai Jiahua Law Firm.
Mr. Yang specializes in the resolution of civil and commercial disputes as well as disputes over administrative investigation and sanctions; in particular construction engineering, real estate, corporate affairs, intellectual property, finance and unfair competition disputes. He has successfully represented clients before the Shanghai Intermediate People’s Courts, the Shanghai High People’s Court, the Supreme People’s Court and various arbitration commissions in a number of complex cases with large amounts in dispute. These efforts have won the trust of his clients and the commendation of judges and arbitrators alike. Mr. Yang has also accumulated rich experience and expert knowledge in administrative investigation and sanction cases involving the Administrations for Industry and Commerce, the Tax Bureau and the Customs Office. He has successfully resolved disputes for many clients in these fields.
