Eddy Leks is the founder and Managing Partner of Leks&Co in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Leks earned his Bachelor of Law degree from Universitas Atmajaya Jakarta in 2003, and also has obtained Master of Laws degrees from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2013 and the University of London in 2015.
He began his legal career in the general corporate/commercial and general litigation practice area. He then joined Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners (HHP), an affiliated law office of Baker McKenzie. There, he was working in capital market, general corporate/commercial, taxation, foreign investment, and the customs practice areas. He left his position at HHP to join PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk, one of the biggest property and real estate development and investment company in Indonesia, where he rose to become a legal senior manager. At time of joining, Leks was one of the youngest legal managers of the company.
His current areas of practice at Leks&Co are real estate, construction, mergers and acquisitions, labor, litigation, and arbitration.
