The best of all worlds
The fictional character of Atticus Finch, the protagonist of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel “To Kill a Mockingbird,” is the epitome of a lawyer’s lawyer, the standard by which attorneys should be measured.
As one of the most beloved characters in world literature, Finch has inspired countless men and women from all walks of life to pursue legal careers since the best-selling novel by Harper Lee was published in 1960. A lawyer of great principle, Finch embodied honesty, courage, compassion, and morality in the pursuit of racial equality, standing up against injustice and the prevailing prejudices of society in carrying out his legal duty.
In many respects, his character also served to inspire the creation of Primerus in 1992 and the corresponding development of the Six Pillars, concepts by which our member firms are constantly measured.
