Collins & Lacy, P.C. is reaching out to non-profit organizations in South Carolina to be considered for the firm’s 2016 Denim Day Drive campaign.  The year-long campaign is a way for the business defense firm to support charities statewide. To date in 2015, Collins & Lacy employees have donated more than $3,000 to a variety of organizations.

Two Fridays a month, employees are invited to “go casual for a cause” and wear jeans to work in exchange for donating five dollars to the designated monthly charity. Collins and Lacy 11Collins & Lacy employees can nominate their favorite charities and non-profit organizations also can nominate themselves for the program. The non-profit organizations that will be supported each year are voted on by employees through an anonymous survey.

“Here at Collins & Lacy, we are dedicated to the communities in which we live and work,” said Scott Wallinger, chair of the firm’s Management Committee. “Our Denim Day campaign is just a small way in which we can show our support.”

Non-profit organizations interested in participating in the 2016 Denim Day Drive can contact Collins & Lacy Marketing Director Janie Langdale at jlangdale@collinsandlacy.com by Dec. 10, 2015. The firm will have an internal vote to select the 2015 Denim Day Drive recipients. Organizations chosen will be notified by Dec. 31.
