The law firm of Christian & Small LLP, headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., is pleased to announce that Partner Daniel D. Sparks has been appointed to the Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute’s (SBLI) board of directors. The SBLI is known as the premier bankruptcy education seminar in the country. Sparks was appointed director by fellow SBLI board members.
“I am honored to be nominated and selected by my peers as a director of the Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute,” said Sparks. “I am eager to use my knowledge as head of Christian & Small’s Creditor & Lender Rights Practice Group to further advance in this role.”
Sparks focuses his practice at Christian & Small in the areas of bankruptcy and business litigation involving creditors’ rights, consumer finance, lender liability and injunctive relief. He represents commercial lenders, debt buyers, corporations, trustees, individuals and other secured and unsecured creditors in all aspects of commercial litigation, loan workouts, loan restructuring, asset recovery, foreclosure and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy. He spends a significant amount of his time representing creditors in all bankruptcy courts in Alabama and others across the Southeast and nationwide.
