Christian & Small LLP announced that attorney Chirayu “Charlie” M. Shah has been selected as a 2012 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow, a national organization made up of the legal profession’s top general counsels and managing partners.

The LCLD is an organization of corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners dedicated to creating a truly diverse legal profession. Shah works in the area of business law, essentially serving as general counsel for the small business.

The Fellows Program is one of several initiatives launched by LCLD since the organization’s creation in 2009. LCLD has also developed innovative programs to address “pipeline” issues that face the profession, encouraging minorities and women to enter the law and supplying programs to increase their likelihood of success in law school and beyond.
