Crossover Communications International has named Collins & Lacy attorney Joey McCue to its Board of Directors. Crossover began in 1987 with a mission of starting churches in areas of the world where the vast majority of the people have never heard of Christ's love and forgiveness. Today, Crossover operates in 19 countries across the world, impacting thousands of lives each day.
“As a longtime supporter of Crossover, I am excited to serve the Crossover Board and continue our mission of sharing the Gospel and planting churches among the unreached peoples of the world,” McCue said.
Crossover is currently led by Ken Katayama, a native of Brazil who has served the organization in several capacities since 1999. “Joey has a passion for spreading the message of Christ’s love and grace,” said Katayama. Katayama follows previous Crossover leader and founder Dr. Bill Jones, who continues to provide leadership and guidance to the Crossover Board and the presidents of Crossover’s six international operations, in addition to his role as president of Columbia International University.
“Joey is a true friend — to me, this organization and the Christian faith across the globe,” said Dr. Jones. “We look forward to his contribution to the continued growth and development of Crossover.”
