Kevin J. DiMedio and Donald A. Nogowski of Earp Cohn P.C. both earn spots in South Jersey Magazine’s annual Top Attorney’s list for 2012
Earp Cohn P.C. would like to congratulate Kevin J. DiMedio and Donald A. Nogowski on their recent recognition by South Jersey Magazine. Once a year, South Jersey Magazine highlights Top Attorneys who have been chosen by their peers as the best in their fields.
Kevin J. DiMedio was recognized as a 2012 Top Attorney in Zoning & Land Use Law, for the third consecutive year. Mr. DiMedio represents his clients by utilizing a wide range of experiences gained while serving both public and private sector organizations. Mr. DiMedio’s practice focuses on business and commercial and corporate matters including real estate, tax and estate matters. Having previously served as in-house counsel for both privately-held companies and a Fortune 500 company, Mr. DiMedio is able to view his clients’ needs from the perspective of an owner as well as a client. He knows the importance of providing prompt and thorough counsel to support his clients’ business decisions.
Mr. DiMedio has also spent many years supporting clients’ land development and community construction projects, and has experience representing such clients in all phases of real estate practice including: site evaluation, land acquisition, due diligence, approvals & permitting, closings, community association formation & administration and sales. Mr. DiMedio has also served as a municipal planning board solicitor, and his broad experience from all sides of land development is incorporated in his handling of such land use law matters as site plans and subdivisions, affordable housing, redevelopment, as well as related outside agency matters including environmental concerns, utility capacity issues and traffic matters.
Donald A. Nogowski was recognized as a 2012 Top Attorney in both Brownfield Redevelopment / Environmental Law, as well as Bankruptcy Law. Mr. Nogowski is a seasoned attorney with broad-based legal and professional experience. Mr. Nogowski has been successfully representing individual, corporate and non-profit clients in complex real estate, business and financial matters for many years. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Nogowski’s professional experience included more than ten years of service as CEO , COO and/or CFO of companies in the real estate development, technology, chemical and manufacturing sectors.
Mr. Nogowski’s practice includes large-scale environmental law and brownfield redevelopment projects in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, real estate development and land use matters, complex business transactions, public finance projects, bankruptcy and business “turn-arounds,” non-profit enterprises, and elder law. Mr. Nogowski has represented both large and small companies, including manufacturing companies, distributors, health care organizations, developers, schools and universities, religious organizations, community development organizations, industry organizations and sports leagues. He has been involved in community development and public economic development projects. In his elder law practice, Mr. Nogowski has represented elderly and/or disabled clients and their families in matters including Medicaid planning and application, estate planning and document preparation, probation and estate administration, disability planning, guardianship and conservatorships, and special needs trusts.
