Grogan Graffam, P.C. is pleased to announce that shareholders Dennis A. Watson, Joseph A. Macerelli, Leo G. Daly, George M. Evan, John A. Bass, Bethann R. Lloyd and Holly M. Whalen and associate Russell D. Giancola were named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers for 2015, an honor awarded to the top 5% of attorneys in the state.

Mr. Watson has been President of Grogan Graffam since 1998. With more than 35 years of trial experience, he concentrates his practice in complex commercial, construction, maritime, insurance, personal injury litigation and estate and trust litigation.

Mr. Macerelli chairs the Professional Liability practice group and has been a member of the firm’s Board of Directors since 1986. He is an experienced trial attorney who concentrates his practice in medical malpractice and other professional liability defense, personal injury, insurance and product liability defense. Mr. Macerelli is also a formally trained mediator and has participated in numerous ADR proceedings including mediation and arbitration.

Mr. Daly chairs the Litigation practice group and has served on the firm’s Board of Directors since 2000. With over 30 years of trial experience, he concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, product liability, toxic tort litigation, environmental matters and insurance coverage issues.

Mr. Evan is a shareholder in the firm’s Litigation practice group. With over 35 years of trial experience, he concentrates his practice in civil litigation with an emphasis on workers’ compensation, civil rights, municipal law, insurance law, premises liability, auto liability and construction litigation. Mr. Evan is also certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Law Section.

Mr. Bass has been a shareholder in the firm’s Professional Liability practice group since 1994. He is an experienced trial attorney and concentrates his practice in medical malpractice and nursing home defense.

Ms. Lloyd is a shareholder in the Litigation practice group and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. She concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance defense, professional liability defense including defense of legal malpractice cases, commercial litigation, employment litigation and civil rights matters.

Ms. Whalen is a shareholder in the Litigation practice group. She concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, professional liability, insurance defense and coverage matters and maritime law.

Mr. Giancola is an associate in the Litigation practice group. He concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, insurance defense, and professional liability defense, including both legal malpractice and medical malpractice defense.
