Cleveland, OH - Effective January 1, 2019 Schneider Smeltz Spieth Bell LLP (SSSB) announces several exciting changes at the firm.  Jim Vail remains Managing Partner and will now be working in partnership with a three-person Executive Committee to lead the firm’s operations.  The following Partners have been elected to serve on the Executive Committee:  James R. Bright, Jennifer A. Savage, and David M. Lenz.  According to Jim Vail, “The addition of the Executive Committee to support the day-to-day management of the firm will go a long way to add depth and breadth to our leadership team and will afford us greater opportunity to continue to deliver excellent client service while growing opportunities for our attorneys and staff.”

Additionally, Aanchal Sharma, has been made a Partner of the firm.  Ms. Sharma joined SSSB in 2016 as an Associate in the Litigation and Real Estate practice areas.  She is frequently recognized for her client service and is instrumental in the ongoing professional development of the firm’s newest Associates.  She is an active member of the legal and business communities, including the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Asian American Bar Association of Ohio, South Asian Bar Association of Ohio, and Commercial Real Estate Women.  She is a valuable member of firm’s Marketing Committee and according to Jim Vail, “…we look forward to Aanchal’s continued contribution to our clients, her colleagues, and to the future success of the firm.”
 
Nicholas M. Vento is the newest Attorney to join the Litigation practice group.  Mr. Vento focuses his practice in the areas of Business/Commercial Litigation, Labor and Employment Litigation, and Estate and Probate Litigation.  He received his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he served as the Symposium Editor for Cleveland-Marshall’s Journal of Law and Health. Nick earned a B.S.B.A. in Finance from The Ohio State University.
 
SSSB Partner, Joseph P. Gibbons was appointed by Mayor Eileen Ann Patton to become the City of Fairview Park's new Law Director. He was sworn in on Monday, January 7th with unanimous approval by the City Council. With many years and experience in municipal government, Mr. Gibbons looks forward to engaging with the staff, City Council, and Fairview Park residents in important issues this coming year.
