December 2020, Virginia – Goodman Allen Donnelly rallied attorneys and staff to support Soldiers' Angels' Stockings for Heroes project. The project collects and distributes holiday stockings - stuffed with trinkets, toys and comfort items - to service members deployed to combat zones and veteran patients in VA Hospitals across the country. This year, recipients include frontline workers supporting COVID-19 operations, including National Guard and Reserves Units, as well as VA Healthcare Workers.
Goodman Allen Donnelly contributed 60 stockings - one representing each firm colleague - and attorneys and staff contributed snacks, puzzles, games, socks, warm hats and holiday candies. Hand-written notes and cards were also collected, along with some creative artwork from children and grandchildren of our attorneys and staff. An eager crew of GAD elves (AKA: staff) stuffed the individual stockings full of goodies, and shipped them off to Soldiers' Angels, who will deliver the stockings in time for Christmas.
