BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Oct. 2021) — The law firm of Christian & Small LLP, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, is pleased to announce that Associate Helen M. Buckley has joined the firm in its Birmingham office. She will focus her practice on Business and Commercial Litigation, Class Actions & Toxic Torts, Construction, Insurance, Labor and Employment, and Transportation. “I am so grateful for the opportunity to join the talented team at Christian & Small. I look forward to growing as both a litigator and an individual alongside a team of professionals whose legal experience and professional reputations precede them.”
Prior to joining Christian & Small, Buckley served as an interim clerk for the Honorable Staci G. Cornelius. Buckley began her career in New Orleans, Louisiana where she practiced for a national firm focused on toxic tort, environmental, and complex products liability, as well as, for a firm specializing in insurance defense.
Berkley graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2014 and received her juris Doctorate from Tulane University School of Law in 2017. During her time at Tulane, she was awarded the Dean’s Honor Scholarship and served as director of the Tulane University Legal Assistance Program. Buckley serves on the American Cancer Society’s Shuck Cancer Junior Executive Board and is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and the Federal Bar Association.
