July 2022, Atlanta, Georgia - Krevolin & Horst continues to grow, adding three attorneys to its corporate/M&A practice. A commercial real estate associate and litigation associate have also joined the firm.

Jennifer Whitton joins Krevolin & Horst as a partner and new leader of KH’s healthcare practice, coming from BakerHostetler’s Atlanta office. Jennifer brings more than a decade of experience advising health systems and other healthcare provider clients in connection with structuring complex transactions involving acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic affiliations. Jennifer also counsels a range of healthcare clients on day-to-day operational and compliance matters, including federal and state fraud and abuse laws such as the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute and Civil Monetary Penalties Law, Medicare/Medicaid requirements and reimbursement, licensure and accreditation, telemedicine, HIPAA and other laws impact healthcare transactions and operations, including fee-splitting and corporate practice of medicine laws.

Brian R. Gamsey joins Krevolin & Horst as an associate in its corporate practice from Morris, Manning, Martin, LLP. His focus is on representing licensors and licensees of technology/software, and growth companies seeking venture capital investment, venture capital and private equity funds, and buyers and sellers of businesses. Brian has experience representing venture backed emerging technology companies and investors across a wide range of venture capital, growth equity, and private equity transactions.

Megan E. Howard is an associate who focuses on corporate and transactional work, including real estate ventures. Prior to joining Krevolin & Horst, Megan was a judicial law clerk in Washington, D.C. for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Before that, she also spent time as an extern working with the counsel at Coca-Cola and the American Cancer Society.

Jacob S. Edwards is an associate on the litigation team. He previously worked at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP and clerked for Judge Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Miami, Florida. Jake represents plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation, including contract claims, fraud, construction litigation, and other business disputes. He also works on appeals in state and federal court, including the United States Supreme Court.

Hunt Revell is joining Krevolin & Horst in August as an associate in the firm’s commercial real estate practice. Hunt recently graduated from Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, Hunt was a legal fellow for the Georgia Sea Grant/Carl Vinson Institute for Government and a summer associate at HullBarrett.
