January 2021, Los Angeles, California – This holiday season, partners and staff of Lynberg & Watkins, P.C. donated $1000.00 to various charities on behalf of the firm. In total, Lynberg & Watkins donated $9,000.
Jeff Carlisle donated $1000 to LoVE, an orphanage in South Africa which houses children whose parents died from AIDS. At Lilly of the Valley or “LOVE” for short, $1,000 will sponsor a child for a year providing health care, food, school, shelter, clothes and adult care.
Jerry Doctors donated $1000 to Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. LA Food Bank donates food and other essentials to children, seniors and families in need.
Shell Harrell’s Team’s contributed $1000 to OCSP Cat Rescue, Inc. OC’s Animal Control Department has responsibility for collecting unwanted cats/kittens, and housing them for potential adoption.
Courtney Hylton donated $500 to the PADRE Foundation which provides psych/social education and programs to children with Type 1 diabetes in Orange County.
Courtney also donated $500 to He Intends Victory, an organization which supports AIDS orphans throughout the world. Courtney went to Africa with last month and saw first-hand how valuable every dollar is.
Mickey Larin donated $1000 to Los Altos Auxiliary of Hathaway-Sycamores. Los Altos Auxiliary of Hathaway-Sycamores is an organization that works as a shelter home for boys who are wards of the court.
Catherine Naltsas donated $1000 to purchase 100 turkeys for the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission for Thanksgiving dinner served to homeless families (photo below).
Trevor Resurrection’s team’s charity contribution goes equally to and Swirl: America ($500), and Catarina’s Club Swirl: America is the Lymphoma Research Association’s signature fundraising event, dedicated to raising funds to support the fight against lymphoma through groundbreaking research. Caterina’s Club’s mission is to provide warm meals, affordable housing assistance, and job training to homeless and low-income families throughout Southern California.
Wendy Schultz donated $500 to each: Families Forward Learning Center and Elizabeth House: Families Forward Learning Center serves low income families in North West Pasadena providing early childhood education and social services, and Elizabeth House provides shelter and services for homeless pregnant women and their children.
Lane Webb donated $1000 to Helen Woodward Animal Shelter. This unique nonprofit organization benefits the community by providing educational and therapeutic programs for people, as well as humane care and adoption for homeless animals.

Lynberg & Watkins’ volunteer effort was organized in connection with the International Society of Primerus Law Firms’ Global Day of Service. Primerus is a highly selective society of high quality, small to medium size law firms. The Society has a set of core values, the Primerus Six Pillars, that all members are committed to upholding. One of those values is community service. Primerus organized the Global Day of Service to celebrate the commitment its members have made to giving back to their communities demonstrating Primerus members are in fact “Good People Who Happen to be Good Lawyers”.
