Q&A with Irsandi Rahmat Wijaya

Q: Before becoming an attorney, what was your first job?
A: My first work experience was as an intern at a state-owned bank called Bank Rakyat Indonesia.
Q: What motivated you to pursue a legal career?
A: Because of my excitement to learn new things, and due to its fascinating field, the law offers endless complex problems to solve and demands a wide variety of skills.
Q: Who was your chief mentor and how did he or she influence your career?
A: Mr. Eddy Leks, as he provides me an opportunity and guidance to pursue my career by becoming an attorney.
Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
A: Someone told me that discipline and consistency create habit.

A: Develop a legal writing skill which can be easily digested by common people.

A: Supporting a partner and associate to win a case.

A: Banker or a lecturer focusing on history.
Q: What do you do to give back to your community?
A: For every month, I donate to charity and a social body.
