An attorney with Evans & Co. in Nassau, Bahamas, Veronique Evans attended Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, now Queen Mary College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree. She then successfully completed the Bar Vocational Course at Inns of Court School of Law in London and in November 2002 she was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales through the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. She joined Evans & Co. as an associate attorney in 2002 and became a partner with the firm in 2006.
Evans obtained a Diploma in International Trust Management with distinction in 2015. Her main areas of practice include: Trusts and Estate Planning, Family Law, Personal Injury Law, Civil Litigation, Commercial Law, and Maritime and Shipping Law.
A: Growing up in a legal family my first job was at the ripe old age of 12 when I started working summers in my dad’s office doing everything from making copies to running errands that could be done on foot.
A: I never wanted to be anything else. My dad tried desperately to steer me away from law, but I was determined and he eventually gave up.
A: The previous answer notwithstanding, it’s my dad. Once he gave up, he taught me so much. A close second is my uncle, who is now a Court of Appeals justice.

A: I would love to play a musical instrument like the guitar, but being tone deaf I’ll just have to listen to people who are God- blessed with that talent.

A: My maternal grandmother, she passed away before I was born, and I would love to talk to her.
