Teague Campbell is pleased to announce that on July 3, 2014, three attorneys joined its Raleigh office. Scott Farwell, Kyla Block and Matthew Marriott bring significant experience to Teague Campbell’s Workers’ Compensation practice area.
Scott Farwell, previously of Wilson Jones Carter & Baxley, P.A, has been practicing since 2006 and currently focuses exclusively on workers’ compensation defense. Scott is a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Iraq from the fall of 2003 until early 2005 while on leave from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Scott is active in community service by lending his time and skills to Habitat for Humanity and the NC Tutoring Program.
Kyla Block, previously of Wilson Jones Carter & Baxley, P.A., received her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2005. She began her career as a Special Deputy Commissioner at the North Carolina Industrial Commission before transitioning to private practice. Kyla serves as a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section advisory team for the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
Matthew Marriott, previously of Wilson Jones Carter & Baxley, P.A., received his B.A. and Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina. He has spent the last three years dedicating his practice solely to workers’ compensation defense.
