The law firm of Christian & Small LLP is pleased to announce that seven attorneys have been recognized by Benchmark Litigation in 2014. Three attorneys were named to its prestigious Top 250 Women in Litigation national roster, six were recognized as 2014 Alabama Local Litigation Stars, and one was recognized as a 2014 Alabama Future Star.
Managing Partner Deborah Alley Smith and Partners LaBella S. Alvis and Sharon Donaldson Stuart are once again featured on Benchmark Litigation’s Top 250 Women in Litigation national roster. All three have received this recognition since its inception in 2012 –the most of any firm in the state of Alabama. Stuart was also recognized as a 2014 Alabama Future Star. Benchmark’s Top 250 Women in Litigation list is devoted to honoring the achievements of America’s leading female trial lawyers and features female litigators from all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia. Peer review and overall depth to their litigation careers were important elements during the research process.
The list of Local Litigation Stars for each province reflects only those individuals who are recommended consistently as reputable and effective litigators by clients and peers. Joining Smith, Alvis and Stuart are Partners Thomas W. Christian, Robert E. Cooper, James C. Huckaby, Jr. and Clarence M. Small, Jr., who are recognized by Benchmark as 2014 Alabama Local Litigation Stars.
Benchmark Litigation is an annual publication that distinguishes America’s leading business litigation firms and attorneys. The results are based on nation-wide interviews of individuals in the legal profession, internal counsel, and business owners.
