Selected as a Best Lawyer in America in the field of family law since 2007, John W. Narron is the head of Smith Debnam’s Litigation practice and served on the firm’s Executive Committee. He has been a partner with Smith Debnam since 1987. Mr. Narron's practice consists of litigation, family law, arbitration, mediation and business transactions.
Rose H. Stout, also listed as a Best Lawyer in America in the field of family law since 2007, concentrates her practice in the area of domestic law. She has been a North Carolina State Bar Board Family Law Specialist since 1991 and represents clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, equitable distribution, child support and alimony.
Thurston Debnam was selected as a Best Lawyer in America for Corporate Law. Thurston is one of the founding partners of Smith Debnam and the Section Head of the Business Law practice group. He served as the firm’s managing partner from 1992 through 1997 and concentrates his practice in the areas of business and corporate planning, real estate law, and real estate litigation including land use planning and zoning.
